Welcome to the outdoors adventure fun Bowley
Bowley International Scout Centre is at the heart of East Lancashire and is situated at the gateway to the North Ribble Valley and Pennine Moors. It is also within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales, Fylde Coast and Lakeland Hills.
The centre occupies an area of 47 acres of rolling meadowland bounded by woodland and the River Calder, offering visitors magnificent views of Pendle and the surrounding countryside. The site is easily reached by road, with rail links to the nearby towns of Blackburn, Rishton and Accrington.
Established almost 60 years ago as a training base for members of the Scout and Guide movements, it has provided specialist outdoor skills training to thousands of young people and adult leaders.
