Running Bear Tipi Village

👋 Farewell to the Tipis, Hello to the Burrows!

Running Bear Tipi Village has now packed up its poles and taken a well-earned rest. While the tipis were a fantastic adventure, they’ve been replaced with something brand new… the Bowley Burrows! Four cosy wooden huts, a communal hall, and a fully equipped kitchen are ready to welcome your next group of campers.

This page remains here for posterity (a little nod to the tipi days) but if you’re looking to book, head on over to the Bowley Burrows.

Bowley’s Running Bear Tipi Village is a fantastic opportunity for a unique style of camping!  With four themed Tipis for sleeping, and a huge Tipi for use as a communal area, this village is all set up for up to 24 campers at a time.

Each smaller Tipi comes with its own external fire hearth and space to erect a dining shelter, while the larger one has electricity and lighting, as well as benches around an internal fireplace.  There is also a hut within the village with a cooker, fridge and cooking equipment.

  • 1 large tipi with a fire and electricity
  • 4 smaller tipis (sleeping up to 6 people each).
  • A hut with cooking facilities
